Benny Camaro took part of the film “Lo Spietato”, directed by the award-winning director Renato De Maria, best known for his film Paz, which won him several awards like Nastro d’Argento and Globo d’Oro, and starring Riccardo Scamarcio, one of the most famous Italian actor.

The work is inspired by the life of Saverio Morabito (Riccardo Scamarcio), the Calabrian mafia boss and super repentant of ‘Ndrangheta.

Benny played the role of a DJ in the 80s and he said that this new experience as actor has been great and singular at the same time, because he had never been an actor and feared he would not live up to the situation and the importance of production.

However, he had a lot of fun during the filming. Benny wants to thank Renato De Maria for putting him at ease during filming, for his kindness and
his professionalism. He wants to thank also Riccardo Scamarcio for the great times they had together improvising, during a pauses on the set, parties with the all cast and Benny invites him to continue his hobby as a DJ because he has talent.

Benny Camaro thanks also all the staff, make-up artists, costume designers, technicians and everyone who worked on the film.

Benny and all the cast invite all of you to go in cinemas in 2019 to see the film!
